The inflamed tissues of the mouth may trigger a toothache or make hypersensitive gums. Not all the causes of toothache are serious, but almost always necessary to go to the dentist, to which we must always ask for any inconvenience, even minimal, which covers the teeth or gums.
The plaque, which causes the formation of cavities, irritates the gums that are flammable and portray, making bare the sensitive dentine of the tooth, the tissue under the gum and that is the root of the teeth.
There are basically two types of gum disease: gingivitis and the parodontite.
The gingivitis
The gingivitis is the most common, and is characterized by inflammation reversible gum. When the teeth forming plaque, near the gums swell and red. There are several types of gingivitis:
- Gingivitis simply manifests itself through the swelling and redness of the gums, easy bleeding, and bad for animal. Untreated, is likely to evolve towards a more severe disease.

- Gingivitis peeling: E ‘almost always linked to an allergic reaction or a skin disease such as lichen, Pemphigus eye, pemphigoiide bullosa and Pemphigus vulgaris. The gum is scollano (peeling), the surface is red and sore.
- Gingivitis induced by drugs: E ‘the side effect is attributable to many medicines.
- Gingivitis due to hormonal changes: Concerns typically the adolesenti, pregnant women and women who use oral contraception.
